This was the year that Pete realised the ambition of a lifetime and got to jump the DC-3, ...4 times ! ...twice during the Op Amherst commemoration, then twice onto DZ 'X' at Renkum near Arnhem :-D Pete hooked up with Lisa, a rather gorgeous English lady in Köln, although the realtionship only lasted a few months :-( PT deployed to Afghan, participated in Op Moshtarak, and got just a little bit blown up :-( The Army flew Pete over to see him in hospital in Birmingham, and the Pathfinder Group gifted PT a ride in the DC-3 at Arnhem, which allowed him to watch his dad jump :-) Pete and The Girls took off to Aus for 3 weeks where the whole family got together for the first time in about 30 years !! We did 2 amazing trips, one to O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, and the other to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays :-D ...and Pete finally got to travel to Muscat and saw the most amazing fireworks display :-)
